Apple rejected my app because it's just a website. Any success stories?

My app was rejected under guideline 4.2.2 (Minimum Functionality) because it is a web wrapper. We run a WooCommerce store.

What are some actual success stories of getting WooCommerce stores approved? What exact features did you enable?

WooCommerce apps are actually easy to get approved if you make it feel premium. For our store, we:

  • Enabled native bottom navigation with tabs for Shop, Cart, Profile, and Orders.

  • Integrated push notifications to alert users when their orders are shipped.

  • Added a native splash screen with our logo and a clean loading spinner.

  • Handled Apple Pay natively.
  • Approved on the first try after adding these.
